Reset the lock before installation.
The part looks like a perfect replacement. Installed a few days ago, everything seems to be working as it should. Note that they all seem to have an initial lock reset issue. Before installation, be sure to return the lever to its original position, otherwise you will need to disassemble it. Ask me how I know that.
