This set had small amounts of oil paints that I don't have in my paint palette so I was glad to get them. Grumbacher is a highly respected oil paint manufacturer with a long history; The colors are buttery smooth and smooth, safely loaded with pigment and easy to work with. Diluted with medium they have a great creamy look and feel, hold up well and retain their individual character when used in glazing and texturing techniques. I recommend Grumbacher with enthusiasm; You will not be disappointed. This is a wonderful little set.
