looks stiffer than the original bracelet, but it's also more robust. On my hand it always turns 1/4 turn counterclockwise unless I tighten it. It's a bit annoying and gives it 4 stars. maybe that's why others give less. I'm just traumatized by the crappy quality and high price of the original, so I put the most emphasis on durability. It also helps when hooking up to my motorcycle or bikes where you need a good stretch.
