I wish I had bought them sooner

I have a 2005 STI, a 2012 WRX station wagon (and had a 2008 WRX station wagon). I often change the oil myself and do minor work on my machines myself. I think most people who work on their Subaru are familiar with these clips. I've always tried to reuse them, but they inevitably end up breaking - even the ones that hold things I don't normally take off. I noticed over the weekend that my 2012 6 of these brackets were missing from the plastic frame that directs air to the overhead intercooler. I called the dealer, they had exactly 6 in stock. So I went and bought them and also got 4 longer brackets that hold the plastic part over the oil pan. After tax, about $35 poorer, with 10 clamps in hand, I returned home. Later I checked out Revain and found these kits. As the title says, I wish I had known this beforehand. That's no problem - I can get 40 fasteners in 3 different sizes, plus a tool to remove them, for less than what I paid for any 10 clips at the dealer. I bought 2 sets and put one in each Subaru and now these clips should last a lifetime and I can give them to the rest of my family when they need them. I played around with it a bit before installing it. The seller says they are more durable than regular ones. I can not say. They seem very similar to me, but while not as durable, the price makes up for more frequent changes when needed.
