When I pulled out some drawers in my bedroom, they sagged if I didn't lift them. This left only one hand free to find what I needed in my desk drawer. It's because the little tip on my plans broke off. You wouldn't think that a little hint would change the controls that much, but it does. The hardest part of my DIY project was ripping off the old rail without damaging the wood. After that, installing new guides became an easy task. I used a drill with a small bit to make 3 holes to make it easy to install the screws. I bought 2 packs (4 slides total) and am glad I did as I found 2 more drawers to attach to my 30 year old bedroom furniture. :-)
