This was my fourth pair of Altra shoes. Whether trail runners, moccasins, road runners or hiking, I can rely on 13-foot running shoes. Til today. See image. On the right is my old shoe in the shape of a foot. On the left is the reviewed product. Both sizes are 13 as recommended by Revane. As soon as I saw her, I became suspicious. It's a tight shoe with a tiny, pointy toe that left me hobbling home with bruised toes on my first try. The advice to go a full size larger than any other Altra shoe I see in these reviews is a workaround for the fact that the shoe is a departure from everything that made the brand great. I'm returning them and looking at other tourist brands. **Update** When I used the 30 day return, I was charged a $82 "restocking" fee. Never buy from Altra again.
