At first I was very happy about this article because my 2012 Macbook only has 2 USB ports and sometimes I need 3 free ports. I use an external SSD in one of the Mac's built-in USB ports and was planning to use this hub to power my wireless mouse and keyboard. It took 4 attempts to find a slot that ran the mouse with no lag and 2 attempts to find a slot that ran the keyboard with no lag π° although I still notice a slight lag. So technically it works, but not as efficiently as I had hoped. I worry that the other two slots will be useless if I need to do anything other than just charge something. I think we'll see.
