I have suffered from chronic pain in my right hip for YEARS. I couldn't sleep on my right hip because it hurt so much, but when I slept on my left my right hip hurt for some reason too. I was able to sleep on my back briefly but woke up with lower back pain and pressure on my hip. I've tried various pillows in the past - from actual knee pillows to small throw pillows and folding pillows - and none of them have worked. I was so desperate that I even tried stuffed animals hoping to find something that was the perfect size. The actual knee pads were too big and bulky and I kicked them while I slept. Others were too fragile and moved too much, or were too flat or too big. I really thought that I would have to deal with the pain forever. TO THIS PILLOW! It's not too bulky and the strap keeps it in place! And I can move it a little when I change position. But to be honest I didn't change positions last night! Thanks to this pillow I slept on my left side all night with no pain in my right hip! The only wish is that the strap is adjustable, but I can turn the pillow to the other side so that the strap is a little tighter. I hope that with continued use my hip will hurt less as I am properly supporting it!
