I used this thermal transfer to reinforce the cuffs of ice fishing bibs. I noticed that the cuffs began to fray where they rubbed against the often icy laces of my ice fishing boots. These are expensive bibs so I wanted to protect the cuffs so I tried this underwire option and it worked great! They do not require very high temperatures to bond well, reducing the likelihood of damaging the material they are used on. So far they've made it through one wash with no sign of flaking. Worth the price for my use.
