I've had bad luck with glass water bottles but this one is thicker than my previous one and dishwasher safe. Ability to wash dishes is good, not all glass bottles have it and it's better than hand washing. The thicker glass means it can handle it and also withstand an accidental drop. The rubberized coating is thin and slips, you have to brush behind it. Since the bottle is clear, it's nice to be able to remove dirt from behind the rubber instead of leaving it there. Taking it to the beach makes it easy for me to wash the sand off my back as soon as I get home. It's easy to hold, not slippery at all, the bottle is a good size for my small hands and the wooden cap is easy to grip. and from. It fits in my cup holder in the car and I don't mind carrying it with me all day so I don't forget to drink. The blush pink and wood finishes are comfortable and soft.
