The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.
K-x is a cut above in quality at high ISO. Hence the question point-blank to Hoya/Penax: is it really that hard to fix this at the software level for K-7? Pros: Build quality, all-weather, built-in Shake reduction, sensitivity priority mode, fine tuning for optics, relatively small size Cons: noticeably noisy at ISO 1600, heavy video files, focusing when shooting video, inconvenient SD connector
