These hood quick release pins work as intended. However, they are difficult to turn off at first. After installation, pull up the hood while pressing the button to open it. The hood wobbles a bit as pulling up and pressing the button seems to work best. For the price, and the fact that a person doesn't climb into the engine bay, which often makes up for a slight inconvenience, isn't too bad. I ordered the silver color and it came almost the same color as the website which is nice.
