I am checking the video recording device. It worked wonders on the first day. On USB 2 it only records at a maximum resolution of 720p. So I switched to USB 3 and it can record at 1080p. At first I was impressed with the product because there is almost no delay in video preview in OBS. For Hauppauge & Elgato, the delay is 3 seconds. I tried this product because I started having video crashes with my Hauppauge & Elgato. On the first day with Mirabox I was very satisfied. However, on the 2nd day this thing just stopped working. OBS does not recognize the device. So I disconnect and reconnect the USB and it tells me the device is defective. My guess is that it's overheating. The device became very hot. I often leave my computer on overnight because I back up my files to the cloud. And my guess is that this unit was on and overheating all night. At least that hasn't happened with Hauppauge & Elgato in the last 10 years I've used them. So something is wrong with this device. You should turn it off automatically when not in use to keep it from overheating. Therefore, I cannot recommend this item to anyone. I mean, if you turn it off manually after recording, the device might last a bit longer. But just leaving it for a day and it broke is not very safe. I doubt the device will last more than 1 month even if you unplug it to let it cool down every time you use it.
