Having carried fixed blades made of high end steel and by well known knife designers, I would still trust my life to the Kubey Hippocampi as a defensive and possibly utility tool. Nothing particularly stands out about this knife but everything about this knife design is done well. Heat exchanger looks great. Fan was broken badly upon opening box. I think I had seen that issue before in previous reviews. Hope they can get it squared away quickly. Not sure if I need to return both parts. I am a little afraid to send back cooler, it is fine. I would hate to send it all back, then receive a good fan and broken cooler! Mine arrived bent out of shape. Sort of twisted so the ring does not sit flat. They also have a plastic insert at the join which I don't prefer. Otherwise, the quality is decent. I have bought a few KES products and all have been excellent, so this is unusual.See full review

I recently purchased the ATOPLEE Spiral Point Plug Threading Tap set and have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the set comes with five taps in varying sizes from M3 to M8 and is coated with titanium for durability. The taps are also right-hand thread, which is the standard for most applications. However, I found that the taps did not cut as smoothly as I had hoped.
