Review on πŸƒ Timex Ironman GPS Silicone Strap Watch: Precision & Comfort Combined by Brian Trujillo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Terrible customer support.

UPDATE (May 13, 2018): Timex has not yet sent me a replacement watch. I did everything they asked and the clock doesn't work. It's like they don't want to admit that something is wrong. I tried updating it on Windows and Apple computers. UPDATE (March 21, 2018): I was asked to send the watch to the engineering department. Timex replaces watches with new ones. UPDATE (March 13, 2018): Received a response from Tech Support today. The suggested solution didn't work. They asked me to uninstall all Visual C++ applications and reinstall the Timex application which installs the latest C++. UPDATE (February 24, 2018): I was working with Timex because the watch stopped connecting to satellites. It was slow, like over a few weeks. I have emailed the data logs and .FIT files to tech support and hope to hear from you soon. I will update this review as I work with them. I love these watches. This is a basic GPS watch that tracks your runs, bike rides and swims. I'm a runner so I researched these features the most. I like: + Easy to program intervals + Pace Alert alerts me when I'm under, over or at my target pace. Could be better: - Pace alert settings should be near where I change interval training because I use an alarm clock to keep up. External running module or internal accelerometer not supported, pace alerts are ok. As with any GPS-only system, it takes a few minutes to get up to speed and warnings aren't immediate.
