Review on 🚰 Honeywell Home RWD42/A Water Defense Water Leak Alarm Sensor with Sensing Cable, Rwd42, White by Luis Adu

The device was not working upon arrival. I've tried several alkaline batteries and even bought a battery tester with no success. Neither the presence of water on the sensor cable nor the "Test" button will cause the device to respond. waste of time and money. It's not even possible to register the device on the manufacturer's website as it doesn't even list the RWD42 product number - perhaps they are rightly ashamed of this device as they should be. Unfortunately after 30 days I realized it was DOA. To return. I was planning on buying a few more of these units assuming I was happy with that first purchase, but I think I'll look elsewhere.
