Review on 📀 High-Speed Sony DRX710UL DVD+R Double Layer External DVD±RW Drive (16x) - Enhanced Performance and Versatility by Brian Buck

We have been using this external recorder for 6 years now (purchased in 2005) and it still works great. Now that hard disk media is obsolete, we have used this hard disk many times to install operating system on different computers without removable media. As before, any machine will recognize the drive without additional software. We are looking for a new (homemade) PC and looked for internal DVD burners but decided not to buy any at all as we will only be using this drive to install the operating system. Also, this drive only needs to be taken out of the box once to write new images to our network storage to create a virtual drive image. Admittedly, this disc is very loud and seems rather slow. In exchange for its durability and versatility, it's a small compromise, especially considering how we use it.
