This is a near perfect comb. In short, this brush is ridiculously easy to clean and feels very durable. I am a woman with very thick, very curly and very long hair. I can easily sit on my hair if I'm not careful. While combing curly hair is a mortal sin, it's usually necessary when I want to tie my hair back so it doesn't get caught on things. This brush works great for the most part, although I wish the plastic bristles were a little more springy. I am sure that this brush will perfectly suit the owners of straight strands. Most women have trouble cleaning their comb, usually digging up all the hair and rinsing off the rest of the styling product. I had to soak the brushes in hot, soapy water, use a comb to pull out the hairs, and then brush off the product with a toothbrush. I even spent hours untangling strands of hair and the remains of a bristle with tweezers. This brush makes it a lot easier. All you have to do is press two buttons on the back of the brush and then pull that segment away from the front of the brush. The bristles are fully retracted into the brush, making hair removal as easy as running your hand over the surface. With some styling products, you still need to use water and some effort to wash away the residue, but you don't have to struggle with detangling at the same time. I will most likely buy a few more of these and keep them in case my first one breaks. I would definitely recommend this brush to anyone who is tired of brushing and soaking their comb.
