Review on 🧻 mDesign Plastic/Steel Compact Small Disposable Paper Cup Dispenser Storage Holder - Organize Bathroom Vanity Countertops, Clear/Brushed by Jessica Williams

Broken out of the packaging. The base is metal with a weight inside (I think for stability). The top part that holds the cups is made of plastic. What they have in common is a plastic tab in the bottom center of the plastic top that goes into the base. Obviously the plastic tab is too fragile to withstand shipping and handling and it breaks off and the two pieces separate. When mine broke it also left a tear on the underside of the plastic piece. Another reviewer snapped a photo of their broken cup dispenser, which is very similar to mine. I've tried Gorilla Glue and it didn't work so I used a sticky caulk that can be washed off with water before drying, made two rings over the base and pressed the plastic piece onto the base until the caulk stuck to the sides ran out. I cleaned off the excess sealant and it worked great and also got rid of the crack. I could have just returned it anyway, but the repackaging and the trip to the Kohls store was more hassle than I care to bear. I'm feeling kinda comfortable so I fixed it - hopefully it lasts. Just be a little skeptical reading all these 5 star reviews. I'm sure there are many more people who have had the same problem. Spend the extra money if you see one that's better made or solid.
