Good stuff: So, I needed a new bookshelf for a bunch of books for my new home. I decided on this one. It is very sturdy and the shelves are really solid. It looks fantastic in my place. Has that modern industrial feel without looking cheap. Exactly what I wanted! I plan on getting a second one for another room. The color was exactly as I expected from the images offered.Some issues I had: The instructions aren't hard to follow but did have a bit of difficulty getting the boards and supports to line up evenly. Even with two support in the right place, something wasn't quite perfect so not all the holes lined up for me. I took a few measurements and things are just a little off on one side. So it might be my own error in some aspect of putting it together. I thought about filling the holes with Kwik Wood and redrilling but with the way the shelves sit I wasn't too worried, I was able to get most of the screws in tight and there isn't any wobble and nothing shifts.Other good things: The shelves came with some solid metal brackets to hook into the walls which I installed a day after this photo. The unit is easy enough for one person to put together. I leaned parts up against other things to keep the pieces upright while I put in the back braces. The boards aren't light but I was able to slid them around, angle and lift into place. By the time I was done, it was really solid! And since it is so solid, you might want help or good floor sliders to move it safely. It's not a light piece once it is done!So my 4 stars is based on the areas I had trouble, but I don't think anything I had a problem with should be a reason not to buy. Overall, I plan on getting a second one to fit art supplies on! I'm pretty happy with it and I think it will last a lot longer than other bookcases I've had in the past.
