So I needed a bag to carry my knits, water bottle, some tools and maybe a portable speaker from the upstairs office to the kitchen and patio. I had a great open basket but my kitten decided he liked sleeping in it. Unfortunately it doesn't close all the way and the kitten has found its way inside. It really holds a lot and the inside pockets are good. The main compartment is enough for a fairly large project like the Afghan or a few small project bags. The tool bag is better suited for straight needles, which I haven't used in many years. It has no overlays and the slots are too narrow and deep for DPNS. The tool pouch isn't padded either and I'm afraid the small wooden pins will break if used when travelling. Otherwise, there isn't much room for tools.
