Reviews are correct, it shakes a bit but my camera is glued to the monitor so no problem. The case is not a carrying case, it serves to cover the camera, which it does. The protective cover can be pushed back and forth a bit fiddly, but be careful, that's no problem either. I like the fact that it leaves the power light open and the slider doesn't affect the mic. The slider is designed to keep an open or closed mic open for clear sound. I just received it and am very happy with it. So far, so good.
