My office has a window, but is often not bright enough, I tried adding stronger LED light bulbs to the old ceiling fixture, but realized the whole thing was too old and had to be replaced. But this light blew me away. It is almost like being outside in the sun, almost too bright, the reason for 4 of 5 stars. I would like to have a dimmer. Another reason I wanted to write is someone said this was hard to install, it is not, but you need to be familiar with ceiling lights. No one unfamiliar with electricity should do any electrical work. The bracket is easily attached to a standard ceiling fixture with the same two screws any ceiling fixture uses. The light requires only two single wires rather than the normal grounded third wire, and these are just pushed into a socket on the fixture and secured with by closing a tab. you then just push the fixture into the bracket and it is attached. I have to say, I thought it was too bright at first, and ordered a warmer color, but now I think I will keep it the way it is.
