The plastic cover does not melt and calibrate out of the box
Well this is my first time using it and the plastic has melted. It's my fault for not reading that it was a plastic lid, but how stupid is it to put a plastic lid on a thermometer that's meant to stay in the pot. It melted during calibration, which wasn't calibrated out of the box but in a good amount. Entered at a boiling point of 195. Needless to say, it goes backwards. Oh, and it started melting at around 100 degrees.
