Review on 🔌 Medela Swing Maxi: USB-C Rechargeable Double Electric Breast Pump with Bluetooth & Portability by Detra Carter

I received this pump from a friend who works at Medela through the Friends and Family program. In return, I have to give an honest review of the product. With my first child I had a different brand of pump and had CONSTANTLY blocked ducts and twice had mastitis. I have a lot of excess milk so it was hard to get rid of it completely. So I was excited to try this breast pump as they said you can get more milk with a breast pump + the Medela name and I thought it would be a good idea to try it. I have never had a blocked milk duct and feel like my breasts are draining well. This pump works FAST! I can only pump 14 ounces in 10 minutes and I feel like my chest is completely empty. It's quiet, which is always a big plus, and it's very portable - the little pump has a loop that allows you to easily attach and attach the lancet to yourself and start pumping. The juicer cleans the breast pump 5 billion times a day. But as for the pumps, this one is easy to clean, there are no hidden nooks and crannies to climb into. It's good. The only downside is that water got into the hose. I think it's because the pump wasn't 100% dry when I put it back together and had to use it again. That was a bummer as the literature says the tube stays dry. There was water in pump number 2 and hose. So I will have to replace these to avoid mold in the pipe. Overall I am very happy with this pump and will be using it for as long as I am breastfeeding my second child which I plan to do for 2 years.
