I was a long time customer using the key from the previous version, the quality of the old one is excellent but this new version is exactly what every MacBook Pro user needs and fixes those Design flaws that the old one had. .- The USB C "L" connector really helps to minimize accidents. - Technically it can only be used on the right side (FYI) - Uses one USBC port, but the "L" shape covers the other USBC and headphone port (it won't return those ports to you, only to yours Info) You can leave it plugged into your computer most of the time (you can even shut down your computer with the adapter on), it doesn't seem to put any pressure on the screen. It's so beautiful when the key doesn't move and it's become my favorite. Hope that helps.
