Bought to update an old junction box on a Lund Alaskan boat that I am restoring as the old glass fuse was unreliable. Along with new lights, bilge and aeration pumps, this was the final touch needed to complete the overhaul. I chose a 4 gang junction box to add a fish orter. I connected it to the battery switch on the battery box to turn off the LED lights that are on when the unit is on. I felt the lighting would have been better for me in low light and am glad I chose it over other types of junction boxes. It works great and I had no problems installing it. When turned on, everything worked the first time! I recommend adding a shutdown switch if you leave your boat unattended without a battery keeper connected. Fair price.
