These sponges are ideal for cleaning large areas. They easily absorb a lot of water and foam and are comfortable to hold. I use them to remove wallpaper. No chemicals, no steam. Just take a bucket of warm water with a little dish soap, lightly cut the wallpaper into diamond shapes (I use a utility knife and don't press hard enough to damage the walls!), and dampen the areas as you work. I've scrubbed two rooms with one of these sponges and it shows little to no wear. It also stays soft!
