I've waited and shopped for months to find not only the right price but also an all metal rice cooker. Most have cheap plastic steamers. I wouldn't pay an arm or a leg for something that's cheap and plastic isn't good for you and never lasts. I've found that not only is all of the above perfect, but the fact that it looks sharp and the steamer sits over the lid opening of the unit allows me to add a few more veggies etc than others. I just coat the inner bottom with cooking spray before leaving it and the rice never sticks to the bottom during cooking which all rice cookers do. I've noticed that the rice gets darker at the bottom and kind of sticks together there when the warmer part is on top, but I just toss it up with a fork and it's ok. I think the underside heats up a bit more when warming up, if they could fix that that would be perfect. I still gave it a 5 because I think it's just as perfect in a rice cooker as either of the models. I just make sure it doesn't heat up for too long. Great product, great price, thank you.
