Extremely bright light disturbs sleep!

I think this product works great - less stuffy nose in the morning. But the light is so bright that it's hard to sleep! I tried blocking it by putting it under the bed but then the entire underside of the bed glows green. I wasn't sure if I could glue it to block the light or if that would reduce its effectiveness. The light disturbs sleep.
