I owned this product for two years before it started to fail. Mind you, it's only been "activated" twice in the whole time I've owned it - once when it first arrived to test it, and another time when I put the keys on the floor dropped and the clip popped out. After a later incident (which was humiliating as it happened in the school library) I started leaving the device at home, allowing it to be powered by just daily wear for 3 months before tossing it in a desk drawer and for special occasions was kept. Imagine my dismay when I woke up to this device, the clip is still in place and chirping at FULL VOLUME. I removed and replaced the clip but it kept beeping. I had no choice but to smash this thing with a hammer to stop it. This device turned out to be poorly constructed after 3 months and complete junk after 2 years. I do not recommend buying.
