*UPDATE* On the left in the photo is the first material received, on the right is the newest. I've ordered them again to have a spare when I need to wash them. The second set I got was a different shade of purple, very very thin, not as shiny or soft. They started hooking up just one night before I even washed them while my old kit is still holding up great. Not the sheets I used to get and loved. I just came back to add that even after several months of use and washing the new set is still very wrinkled. This material cannot be ironed. Below is my old review of the first set. Who knows what you'll get! They are more durable than other silk sheets I've had. They are not sticky at all and do not lose their shine even when washed. true color. More beautiful in real life. If you are not used to silk sheets, be aware that the sheets you buy are slippery and need to be washed thoroughly. I recommend buying these elastics from the dollar store to hold the bottom sheet, put a second pillow between yours and the wall to keep it in place, wash and dry on low to prevent melting/catching , and tumble dry. Foils to avoid static electricity. Silk sheets aren't for everyone, if you're a fan this is a very good set. Worth the price.
