This is the second time I have bought this type of product. First he had to lie in the sun for a while, then he still didn't lie down evenly. This product was completely different. It was almost flat when I unrolled it. My cord went in easily, but it was only a lightbulb cord. So I was very happy with this product. I didn't rate the adhesion as there is no glue on it. However, it is malleable, so it will not slide easily on a smooth surface as long as some downward pressure is applied. I will buy it again if I need such a product.
