As I have suspected for the last 5 years almost all fittings/connectors are generic and just different branded. The problem is that the clones don't seem to pass the quality control of the popular brands. (primochill/alphacool/xspc/bitspower.) as 100% of the 20 (clones) I bought (for cycle recovery) were primed/painted. This will be a problem if you have the right CPU/GPU block as these are usually made of copper so with brass or aluminum fittings you are introducing a second metal that can cause corrosion. As such, I only recommend them if you're using a corrosion inhibitor designed for PC cooling. don't want loops, don't prevent biogrowth, and most of them reduce cooling efficiency because of the temperature difference.
