All the moans that they have absolutely no bass appear after connecting to weak amps. So don't be stupid, try with different ones, or immediately provide a supply of power. Who does not believe - look at the impedance measurements on stereo. Ru. Before that, I listened to the Microlab Pro-2 with the Muse M50 amplifier on the TPA3123, and gradually I wanted more. I bought these speakers - there is no bass as a class, all the music is shallow and dull. Only Bob Marley sounded decent at a low volume. I bought an FX-Audio FX-502spro amplifier on the TPA3250 for them and the sound returned to normal, some details appeared that were previously indistinguishable. At the same time, it turned out that if you direct them directly at the listener, you get an excess of high frequencies (the same "brightness"). Turned 20 degrees, now what you need. Metallica and Apocalyptica pull out great. Sometimes "dirty" guitars sound unpleasant (did you meet Rammstein, Therapy?). Everything is OK with the vocals, although there are no goosebumps. Addition - I bought them to replace the Polk Audio T50. Compared to them, Yamaha does not have this bass. But anything above is perfectly normal. Would still recommend them within budget, possibly in conjunction with a subwoofer.
