I think you get what you pay for. These big Party City balloons cost at least $15.99 each and now I see why. I liked that everything fit and I could assemble from home so I decided to buy this set. First, no special straws were required to inflate the balloons. Second, when we used a small straw and then tried to open the hole with a tiny pin so it could be inflated, it ripped the balloon apart and couldn't hold air even when sealing the hole. This happened for 3 out of 5 we got. As for the latex balloons, one burst after I barely inflated it and the other burst in my mouth while I was inflating it. They are all very cheap quality and I highly recommend spending the extra money to buy better quality products from a real store. I would not buy again. I think even if we had our own helium tank it wouldn't help. I liked that everything fitted together and that the birthday sign was already hung (some kits require you to thread the sign yourself).
