As soon as I took this item out of the box I was glad to try it. I screwed the camera mount into the legs and placed it on the tabletop. My guess is that the legs weren't perfectly evenly spaced and the tripod fell on its side, landed on the ground and one of the legs broke off! I was very disappointed in the quality of this product and returned it immediately. Luckily, the return process was quick and painless. I have ordered another product that I am satisfied with (Joby GripTight Flexible Stand Kit for Smartphone/Action Camera).
