Active VHF Antenna: Radio Antennas
This is an "active" antenna, meaning it has a built-in amplifier. My experience is that it doesn't have good noise isolation, which means it can become difficult to place on nearby objects, TVs, power cords, and electronics. The only way you really know is if you understand it and hope you don't run into interference problems.
