As someone with acid reflux at night, I need to elevate my upper body slightly to relieve symptoms at night. This presents a problem when I have to spend nights away from home because I have my headboard raised. I ended up stumbling across this product at Revain and ordered it ahead of a week long cruise over the Christmas holidays. This pillow worked great on the trip! My biggest problem with wedge pillows is that I tend to slip on them at night. A wedge pillow doesn't help with reflux if I slide on it. I didn't roll down on this pillow though. The texture of the pillow prevented this. A hit on the pillow is that the end doesn't taper. I had to put a pillow under my side to sleep comfortably. The second downside is that it can take a few minutes to inflate yourself, so you might want to seek help. But, hey, the positive side of an inflatable pillow is that it easily fits in my luggage. Overall I would recommend this pillow for reflux sufferers who plan to travel. It's affordable and does the job.
