Antenna was bought because I have a scanner with SMA connector and scanners with BNC connectors. I used an adapter for SMA. The antenna works better than a standard duck. I wanted to remove the adapter to use the antenna in a BNC connection but the adapter is not approved. It's in the antenna. Now I can only use the antenna on the scanner with an SMA connection. So this antenna is back because I'm getting rid of the scanner with the SMA connector.
