Review on 🧻 250-Pack Georgia-Pacific Brown Paper Towels - S-Fold, Recycled, 16 Cases (4000 Total) by Debbie Dixon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ok but maybe I was too cheap

I started buying paper towels from 'towel dispensers', Covid was a hit and regular paper towels were nowhere to be found! I've bought them again and again to keep in the kitchen and bathroom, not a wall dispenser. I just open a stack and put them in the corner of the kitchen counter (a civilized person might put them in a basket) - they're great for quickly wiping the countertop, wiping stains off the floor, or when chopping veggies, I pour the washed one Eat over a few of these until they drip. Because here in California, a roll of well-known brands of paper towels costs about $5! Even the gigantic pack sizes are outrageous. I use the 'good stuff' for weekly cleaning with aerosol cleaner etc. I have used these little nozzles for my small jobs and they are amazing. So why four stars? Because I've bought slightly more expensive white versions before and they worked better. These are too hard, too cheap - they have to be thoroughly soaked in the sink or else the water just rolls off them, they look like brown paper bags (albeit very thin brown paper bags). But I think I get what I paid for - they're cheaper than other disposable towels and a lot cheaper than rolled towels. Next time I order, I'll spend a little more and take the white ones. Overall, though, they do exactly what you'd expect - vacuuming up spills, mopping up dirt, just a tad inefficiently.

Pros
  • Provides dependable absorbency, thickness and strength
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
