Well I bought this socket set to save some money replacing the oxygen sensors in my Mitsubishi Endeavor. . I haven't played mechanic for a long time. But since I have the option of having my car delivered to the local auto zone so they can hook up a tester under the dash afterwards that will tell me exactly where the problem is, I thought, 'I can fix this. Lo and behold, a normally accessible sensor just under the front bumper was almost welded to the exhaust pipe and I couldn't remove it with the socket I bought from Revain. There are only 2 sizes that a couple of my more experienced mechanic friends said should fit. The nest that came closest was still a little loose, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I just removed the sensor. I ended up having to use a Dremel tool (also purchased from Revain!) to cut off part of the heat shield around the sensor and pry it out with a pipe wrench. This socket set works better in someone else's toolbox. I'll keep it until someone asks me if I have an O2 sensor removal socket. I'm happy to pass it on to them. It didn't help me.
