Review on 🍱 Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Square 2-Cup Food Storage Containers (Pack of 6) - 085275708479 by Tina Stamey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great containers but you need to get rid of the sticky labels (here's how)

These are great little containers, just what I was looking for to replace some of the glass containers and they are quite heavy and bulky. Very useful, dishwasher safe (top shelf), microwave and freezer safe for pre-portioned salads and portions of oatmeal or smoothies from the grain-free refrigerator. I've never used glass in the oven, although I thought I could. With the lid closed and measured at the widest point, they are approximately 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 3.25 inches high. I don't like that the seller doesn't offer this. (and how to get rid of the stickiness) The only problem is that the barcode label (one for each container) is very difficult to remove without special measures (see below). Remove, soak in warm water with plenty of dish soap to remove grease. Then apply a product called Goo Gone to the label. This should make it easier to remove the label. Then add some rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer to remove any residue Remove residue. Wash well with dish soap or in the dishwasher. Warning: Do not use a product called Goof Off that comes in an aerosol can. It's too aggressive for plastic (although it works great on harder surfaces like glass, tile, or metal). Instead, use Goo Gone, which comes in a small bottle. ip to its creators, only found this years ago and it's like magic removing sticky labels from new products.)

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
