I got a larger version of this stool with a black mesh seat to use as an occasional break from my standing desk at work. Pros: Sturdy, very easy to assemble with 3 step instructions, easy to raise and lower, very easy to raise and move with just one finger, large enough to support most people as a standing chair instead of just sitting (I'm 5 feet 7 inches). and can hardly stand on it when it's all the way up). Cons: Fortunately or unfortunately, all I can say is that he encourages me to stand behind his bar table as I can't lean or sit on it without slipping back! It doesn't matter what pants I wear. It also doesn't rock as much as some of the other rocking stools I've used, which is probably a good thing since I'll probably end up on the floor. Overall I don't recommend this particular mesh model unless your butt is velcro.
