Great gloves for grasping a feral cat

We captured a 1 year old feral cat who took months to consent to being touched for scratching or grooming. While he now comes when called, typically trading treats for his people to scratch his neck or shoulders, it's still difficult to get him into a top-loading travel crate for routine vet visits. To wrap it, you usually have to stand on the stairs and scratch it carefully. from the high shelf to the carrier. Even with a strong web, your hands and wrists remain vulnerable targets. It is not vicious, but defends itself like a normal wild cat and delivers sharp warning bites. His teeth haven't pierced your gloves yet, but he can pinch you for a bruise. This is so much better than a deep, profusely bleeding puncture wound from those sharp cat teeth! the usual questions without panic or drama. .and a round of antibiotics for you to enjoy. These gloves were not purchased for and I have not tested them for heat resistance. I have medium sized women's hands and the medium size fits comfortably. (My husband wears very large gloves so I needed my own gloves.) No heat is required in my application. Our feral baby is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted, indoor cat who loves to frolic with her fur siblings. Front porch, squirrel watching and relaxing in the sun.
