I have a very nice Sony Bravia TV that the HDMI ports are not working. For a while I just gave it a signal over a cable line, but I wanted to use Comcast on that. After checking that the VGA port still works, I decided to buy this adapter. There were some that were slightly cheaper, but there were questions as to whether they would work with a "TV Stick". I chose this one because it specifically said it would work with this type of device. I'm happy to report that it works without any problems. Nice to see again in almost high definition on my old TV. I'm speaking near high definition because it's not as clear as my new TV. But I can't fault anything about the adapter. I'm not sure if that's the quality of the show or if it's just the quality of an old TV screen. But whatever. It's MUCH better than a cable signal. It only works for a day so I can't comment on the lifespan, but the build quality is very good.
