Worked once. and never again

Connected to transfer files from camera, it worked first time. but the next day I did the same and it didn't show up as discoverable on my computer. The light was on, indicating it was plugged in, but it wasn't working. I tried other USB devices and everything worked fine except this one. Later I even tried it on a friend's laptop and the result was the same. I do not recommend this product to anyone and will return it. Big waste of time and money
