This product is a good and reliable reader and easy to install. It fits in your pocket and allows you to take it with you wherever you go. This is exactly what you need in this remote and mobile environment.

Excellent CAC/PIV reader. Fast and not overloaded with multiple requests like other CAC/PIV readers. The best CAC/PIV reader I've ever used. Works on Windows 10 (tested by Edge, Chrome, IE). And works on my phone (Pixel 4, Android 10) in Edge browser with Type-C adapter.

Plug and play with Activclient. Just plug it in and it works. Plus it's cheap. What else do you need? The cord is a bit long for my needs - maybe 5ft - but it's not that bulky. I work remotely with my laptop at home. First I borrowed a keyboard with a card reader, but it takes up less space on the desk. And I was wary of the ones that plug directly into a USB port as they looked fragile. They don't seem to be suitable for laptops that are moved around a lot.

This item only looks deceptively cheap because it is very light and almost no gears are visible. High quality and density plastic. I plugged it in and it worked immediately on Windows 10. This brand is trusted in my workplace, so I trust it too. A big disadvantage, blinding blue LED. I was half tempted to drop the SMT and put a little green one in its place. Pro tip: Make sure your browser's certificate store contains the root certificates for the websites or resources you visit.
