I had never dealt with acrylic artistic paints before, I usually used oil paints for my paintings. Acrylic was used only for decorative work and children's crafts. Then I decided to try to paint a picture with acrylic. It has several advantages over oil paints. It does not stink, it is diluted with water, it dries very quickly, the colors are bright. I did not buy expensive paints, because I did not know for sure whether I would like to work with acrylic. I bought an inexpensive set of 12 Brauberg colors. Paints cost about 200 rubles. Compared to the price of "oil" - a penny. Of course, I had to buy a large can of white paint, because this is the basis of the basics. In general, I liked painting with acrylic, but the fact that it dries so quickly is very inconvenient. Out of habit, I spread all the necessary colors on the palette, mixed them, but while I was painting one element, everything had already dried up. Here you need to get used to - squeeze a small amount of paint onto the palette and immediately choose what you are going to draw. There will be no time to think. By the way, I took white paint from another company, more expensive. It is not so thick in consistency and takes a long time to dry. I didnβt like Brauberg paints very much and now Iβll explain why. The labels are very poorly glued to the tubes, some fell off right away. The tubes are made of very soft metal. It's just trouble. When you close the cap, it dries to the tube and to open it, you need to make some efforts, but the tube is so soft that the whole is deformed in your hands. Usually the upper part of the tube is dense, it is convenient to hold on to it to open the lid, but here ... itβs just like itβs made of foil. This is perhaps the biggest disadvantage of these paints. There are no complaints about the colors. But the green color is very bright, poisonous. One is light green, the second is green. I had to buy more herbal green. There are two different blue ones, which is very important. In general, the paints are inexpensive and not bad, but the tubes are of poor quality, the packaging is also flimsy and the labels are poorly glued. I won't buy these anymore. They may be suitable for decoration, but for painting it is better to immediately buy a better option. This is a piece of the started picture - still in the process yet.
