Review on πŸ’¨ Enhance Air Flow with TYC 700239 Replacement Blower Assembly by Michael Glassburn

It works, but there's a catch.

Here's the deal. Mitsubishi Outlander can use two parts. #7802A217 or #7802A277. Almost every auto parts store recommends this part as a replacement for any part. However, as mentioned, the hose for 7802A277 is different from the hose for 7802A217 and TYC 700239 does not come with a matching hose. So if your vehicle already has a 7802A217 hose then this is ideal. However if you have 7802A277 then you will find that the hose is too big for TYC 700239. Below are instructions on how I got this to work on a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. First open and empty the glove box. Look to the left side of the glove box, there is a choke lever mounted there. Gently press on the end of the plastic that the lever is connected to and gently pull the lever out of the glove box. Now gently press the sides of the glove box to make it fall and gently pry to remove. Second, use a small screwdriver to pull on the center of the two push pins holding the bottom fairing so you can remove the push pins. Release the latch where the glove box floor would have been and lift the underside of the panel to reveal the engine. he immediately started spinning. If it is cycled off and on again, it will not start again unless it is pressed again to indicate that the motor is worn out and needs to be replaced. Fourth, use a flexible screwdriver extension or a very short screwdriver to remove the 3 screws holding the motor after removing the flexible hose. Now unplug the power cord. Fifth, go to an auto store and buy some inch 1/2" hose with a 3/4" OD. Slide a tiny piece of hose onto the new motor to make a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter. (I took my new motor and new flex hose to a parts store to get a perfect fit where they sold me a 1/2" hose. Sixth, reinstall the fan, put 3 screws and the flex hose on Attach your 3/4 inch adapter For rubber the hose you made, hook up the motor, check the fan I was lucky my local auto parts store had a hose I was able to cut off and make an adapter out of .
